Sales teams always push capex numbers, but what about annual maintenance?
Spare parts? Teach pendant lifespan? Grease? Motors?

We spend around ₹1.2–1.5 lakh/year per robot for preventive maintenance on FANUC arms. Biggest cost is servo motor replacement if overused.

Teach pendants break more than people think. Buttons go first.
Always keep spare pendant in plant.

Robot greasing intervals are real. If skipped, backlash increases fast.
Also check reducer temperature often.
